Facebook is so behind the times, I go on there and share The Hobbit trailer totally FREAKING OUT EXCITED and there is NOTHING about it on my newsfeed. I come on tumblr and there are already gifs of the trailer and so many posts.
archaeology wise. I can’t figure out what I want to do with it in the future. A part of me really wants to get involved with working on laws and programs in nations for heritage conservation (because currently most of them are pathetic). I also want to work on informing the public about archaeology in an understandable manner, not dumbing it down but having faith in people who like archaeology, but at the same time not being a snobby academic archaeologist (no offense, lol).
But deep down I really want to work on linguistics and old languages and how is that a part of archaeology?! I can’t figure out how to make it work. Maybe I’ll do my master’s in something relating to it. Hopefully in the UK.
Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh all I do is stress about this stuff. And I can’t! IT’S FINALS, I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY FINALS.
Final 3.2 today (second half of Japanese). Then 2 arch ones Thursday and Friday (where majority of my notes have randomly disappeared, wtf. also, the last lecture for one was 120 slides long and I wasn’t there for it!!! fml, that’s what I get for drinking). Then it’s Christmas shopping, then hanging out with friends (German Christmas Market/skating in Robson Square yay :D), and then flying home on Saturday!
GOD. These next four days can’t go by fast enough. So of course they go by slowly.
Also, this is a poster made by my university in the library. SERIOUSLY. SFU just went up 100 cool points.
